It stores an identifier in your browser so that a conversation you start stays attached to you across page loads, and if you are signed in we pass your name and email so we know who we are replying to. The chat widget is not loaded immediately. It waits until you interact with the page or the browser goes idle, so it costs nothing on first paint.
We do not use advertising cookies, marketing trackers, or sell data to third parties.
